Meeting Moose and Hazel Hen this weekend on the ski slopes!

A scenic 30 minute drive this weekend to the ski slopes led to some close encounters with wildlife.

On arrival we met two Moose and took these photos! The Moose were calm and carried on feeding.

Then at the end of the day we were joined on the slopes by a group of six Hazel Hen (Tetrastes bonasia). We grabbed these photos. They were occupied with feeding in the trees and did not want to leave.
