The fishing is reliable and consistent across a lot of local lakes and rivers at the moment.
It is a case of getting out and making the most of it before mid October, when the weather can bring snow flurries and sleet.

This Saturday and Sunday saw fish of over 20lb landed on our boat. They are measuring 94 to 97cm for the 20lbers. The longer 1m plus fish have been weighing lighter.
These fish are gorging to sustain themselves through the winter. They are going to get heavier as the weeks tick by.
