We have a lot of breeding Curlew (Numenius arquata) visible from where you stay with us.

These birds have a very evocative call to me, having worked on coastal conservation projects in the UK.

I love Sweden. Fishing and bird watching connect me to the outdoors. I worked in wildlife conservation in the UK for 17 years with the British Government. I currently work at a Swedish University specialising in species conservation, forestry and atmospheric research. I live and work in Sweden alongside unique and rare wildlife. Northern Sweden is the last great wilderness in Europe.
