Everyday now we are enjoying the spectacle of a flock of Snow Bunting in our garden. Their numbers fluctuate from a dozen to eighty birds at any one time.
These Arctic specialists are rapidly gaining body mass prior to breeding by feeding on the newly exposed grassland around our house.
